Sound Composites offers extremely durable and remarkably lightweight (0.3 oz./8.5 gram) carbon fiber composite violin tailpieces. On violins a tailpiece of lower mass vastly improves the instrument’s responsiveness and tone generation. These tailpieces are offered with an attractive exposed carbon fiber with gloss finish, or alternately with an Ebony-looking satin black finish.  No tailpiece cable (tailgut) included.
